The Museum of the American Arts and Crafts Movement (MAACM), one of St. Petersburg's most celebrated cultural landmarks, is expanding! A brand-new addition — approximately 10,000 square feet — will soon join the museum's already impressive 137,000-square-foot home.
Located at the corner of 4th Street and 4th Avenue, the expansion will once again be designed by the acclaimed Alfonso Architects, the visionary firm behind MAACM's original architectural masterpiece. The new structure will seamlessly complement the museum's striking design while creating space for even more art, history, and inspiration. Visitors may already see signs of progress, with groundbreaking set to begin soon.

The expansion will introduce four new galleries, giving MAACM an extraordinary opportunity to showcase additional treasures from the world-renowned Two Red Roses Foundation collection. For the first time, guests will experience permanent exhibitions of exquisite Arts and Crafts jewelry, textiles, and the much-anticipated return of TRRF's color woodblock prints, photography, and more - presented in ways never before seen.
Best of all, MAACM will remain open throughout construction, allowing visitors to continue enjoying its captivating galleries and rotating exhibitions without interruption.
